Welcome to the Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals....one of the longest serving charities in the City. Our fundraising efforts have enabled us to contribute over £12 million pounds at present day values for the benefit of patients.
Our main aim is to make the lives of patients more comfortable, more convenient and more personal to enhance and add value to existing services.
We work closely with our local NHS Trusts to ensure your contribution helps provide additional benefits for local patients.

Trustees confirm £220,000 in grants for Elderly Care.
Following a major bequest from a local businessman, Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals are delighted to announce the purchase of a range of equipment to support care for the elderly across the City.
The FriendsAnnual General Meeting will be held at Hove Polyclinc at 6pm on 14th May. An invitation has been sent to all members. We are delighted to welcome Duncan Selbie, Chief Executive of BSUH, as our Speaker.
Our next Doctor Talks event will be held at 7.45pm on Thursday 5th June at the Audrey Emerton building. The Talk will be in association with the Medico Chirurgical Society and will be on the subject of "Aortic Stunts". This event is free and all are welcome however please phone or Email the Friends to book your place.
Local author Harry Gaston will be publishing his book Brighton's County Hospital 1828-2007. All copies sold will benefit the Friends. Copies priced £15 can be ordered from the Friends office.
The Friends are delighted to welcome the Choir of Somerville College Oxford who will be performing a benefit concert in St George's Church Kemp Town on Saturday 14th June at 7.30pm. A popular repertoire will include Haydn's Little Organ Mass and Faure's Requiem.
