Our Annual General Meeting will be held at Hove Polyclinic at 6pm on Wednesday 5th June.
In addition to the usual agenda items, we are delighted that Sherree Fagge, Chief Nurse at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, has agreed to be our speaker.
Our next talk will be at 7pm on Tuesday 11th June at the Audrey Emerton Building on Eastern Road (opposite the Royal Sussex County Hospital).
Dr Martin Llewelyn, Reader in Infectious Diseases and Therapeutics at Brighton and Sussex Medical School will be talking about 'The evolving threat of infection in hospitals'.

The Friends Trustees (two of whom are pictured below during a hospital visit) met in December 2012 and allocated over £90,000 to the four local NHS Trusts which we support.
£55,000 has been spent on items requested by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust (BSUH), £13,000 on Sussex Community Trust, £20,000 for Sussex Partnership Trust and £400 for East Sussex Healthcare.
The equipment has been carefully selected to make life better for local NHS patients. Full details here.

Clare Harding (above) ran Brighton Marathon in 2012 and raised enough money to install televisions for the Dialysis patients at the Royal Sussex County Hospital to enjoy the 2012 Olympics.
