Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals
Registered Charity 209414
Friends Trustees Glynn Jones and Harry Gaston visited the Royal Sussex County hospital to view the high-specification Fibroscan with staff from the HIV and Hepatology departments.
One of only five in the county, this Fibroscan will reduce invasive biopsies and trips to London for patients with liver damage. The Friends have donated £45,000 towards the £80,000 cost.
Pictured with the Fibroscan are Viral Hepatology Nurse Specialists Alexandra File, Majella Keller and Nicola Swanson.
