Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals

Brighton Marathon

Are you interested in a challenge? Would you like to run the first ever Brighton Marathon on behalf of Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals?

Registration opened to the public on Tuesday 23rd June 2009 at 10am. The Friends have already pre-registered and expressed an interest with the organisers in purchasing charity entries - up to the maximum allowed of 25 per charity. We have to pay for these entries at the time of registration - cost is £86.25 (inc VAT) for 'Red' entry and £109.25 (inc VAT) for 'Magic' entry.

· Post-race Massage in Charity marquee Massage Zone.

· Finisher Certificate, Medal, T-shirt and Goody Bag.

We would ask each runner to raise at least £400 for Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals but will be understanding if not everyone reaches this amount. Conversely we hope some people will raise a whole lot more. We would require everyone who accepts a place to pay a fee to us as soon as possible so that we, as a charity, cover our outlay costs. The fee can be reimbursed to you from the total amount raised for the run after the event or can be donated to the Friends by the runner.

Sponsorship will be organised via Just Giving - we will set up a page / pages for everyone participating.

Please contact Suzy and Sarah at the Friends office if you are interested.
