Ian Tait, Director of Facilities at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust and Gordon Abbey from South Downs Health NHS Trust attend the committee meetings on behalf of their respective trusts.

The Executive Committee, led by Chairman Michael Whiting, meet bi-monthly at Mill View Hospital in Hove.

The Executive Committee oversee all the activities of the Friends including:

•Financial planning

•PR & Media strategy

•Review and reconciliation of all awards agreed

•Determining fundraising priorities

•Event planning

•Making grant awards

•Reviewing grant applications from individual clinical departments

The Executive Committee are supported by the administrative team based at the Friends Office in Brighton. All enquiries should be addressed in the first instance to the Friends Office.
